Taylor Yard G2 River Park Project Final Draft Implementation Feasibility Report (IFR)
The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering has completed the Final DRAFT Taylor Yard G2 River Park Project Implementation Feasability Report (IFR).
We have created a narrated Powerpoint presentation to give an overview of the report.
This presentation will provide viewers information about the Taylor Yard G2 River Park Project, which is proposed for the City’s 42-acre G2 property, which was acquired in 2017, and provide an overview of the contents of the IFR. This includes the design options that were explored, the community input, and the extensive, scientific site investigations and assessments done to determine the level of contaminants on the site, which is a former railroad maintenance yard and a California Department of Toxic Substances Control-designated Brownfield.
This presentation also includes a summary of how the IFR was developed, including comprehensive community engagement over the course of two and a half years.
The presentation will also outline the recommendations of the IFR. Most importantly, this presentation will provide viewers with instructions on how to access and review the IFR document and submit comments.
Also provided is a short questionnaire that interested parties can complete when they have finished reviewing the IFR.
This presentation will also provide an overview of next steps for the project and for the entire 100-acre Taylor Yard property, of which G2 is part.
After viewing the presentation, you will be given the opportunity to make comments, and fill out a questionnaire asking about future project engagement.
